From 19 December 2023, submit your visa application file to VFS global

From 19 December 2023, the collection of visa applications formerly submitted to the French Embassy in Bahrain will be outsourced.

Short-stay and long-stay visa applications for France, as well as short-stay visa applications for the Schengen States represented by France in Bahrain (Austria and Portugal) will now have to be submitted to the outsourced service provider VFS Global whose offices are located on the 19th floor of the Diplomatic Commercial Office Towers, Building 1565, Road 1722, Block 317, in Manama. Passports will also be collected from the same premises.

This outsourcing of the collection of visa applications applies to all types of passports (diplomatic, special, ordinary) and all nationalities subject to the visa requirement.

From 19 December 2023, the visa section of the French Embassy will no longer receive visa applicants in its premises.
